[The mess that had been Akvos had been made worse for him when Astoria's powers had been amplified. He had realized it too late and during the chaos had accrued too many injuries to remain useful. The rest had been a blur as his wounds caused him to pay little attention to the proceeding chaos around him. He was lucky to have escaped alive all things considered.

But now that the dust had settled the horrible results laid before them Alphinaud could turn his mind to the concern of his friends he hadn't been in contact with since the fighting had broken out. First on his mind is his sister, of course, but Alisaie saw to that reunion on her own.

Thus he reaches out now to Minfilia and prays she made it out of the chaos unharmed.]

Minfilia? Are you there? I... simply wanted to inquire upon your well being in the wake of what occurred in Akvos.

[It takes her a little while to reply to him. Since their return she has suffered a constant headache, barely able to think through it enough to spare a thought for her closest companions. They failed. A world has been torn apart over their inability to save it.
